Both the Republican and Democratic national committees announced on Wednesday that they had their best fundraising months of the year.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) announced that it had raised $25.3 million in October.

The Daily Wire reports that the RNC’s October fundraising numbers mark its largest off-year October haul ever, noting that it was almost three times what the party raised in October 2017.

The RNC now has $61.4 million on hand and has raised a total of $194 million in this election cycle. The Hill notes that President Donald Trump’s campaign and the RNC have raised more than $300 million between the two organizations.

Meanwhile, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced during the Democratic debate that it also had its best fundraising month of the year, bringing in $9 million last month. That leaves the party with $8.7 million on hand and brings its fundraising total for the cycle to $75.5 million.

The paper also noted that the RNC and Trump campaign has benefited from having an established party leader, while Democrats are lacking someone to be the standard-bearer for their party as candidates vie for the nomination.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel pointed to the ongoing impeachment inquiry as part of the reason for their fundraising boon.

“While Democrats are focused on their sham impeachment charade, Republicans had another record-breaking fundraising month in October — the best off-cycle October in our party’s history,” McDaniel said. “When you look beyond the beltway, it’s clear that the American people are sick and tired of the Democrats’ baseless investigations.”

Why not leave America before the Purge.

The people that are scared they might get killed and/or don’t want to participate during the Purge, why not just leave the country a couple days before and come back when it ends.
